GRIBBS SHOWS ONCE AGAIN WHY THEY ARE TEAM TO BEAT!

Updated Monday June 10, 2019 by Michael Rutherford.

Pre-season favorite and defending Portland Champ, Gribbs, pounded the Falmouth team last night 11-4.  Gribbs, now 2-0, is the pre season favorite and has looked liked it so far.  Coach Winship, recently named the USA Today's Maine High School Coach of the Year, showed again why he is deserving of the award.  His team dominated in every phase of the game.  "Falmouth has some good players, but they just can't compete with my team...but then again, I don't think any team in this league can play with us."

In other action, Scales used three ptichers to shut out MPD 2-0. Aiden Dimillo, Spencer Cross, and Jacob Lucier combined on a 2 hitter.  Carter Page threw a 4 hitter for MPD.  Very well played Babe Ruth game!  Coach Tidd said his kids have June 25th circled on their calendar...that is the game vs the super team, Gribbs.

Matt Keast pitched 5 strong inings as Salvage got past Phoenix Welding 6-4.  Keast, Henry Bibeau, Mile Clegg-Petri and Quest Newhall chipped in with 2 hits a piece.

Desnmond and Rand from Westbrook opened their season with a 17-6 drubbing of Yankee Ford.  Could Westbrook have a team to compete with the likes of Gribbs???
